Use of personal protective equipment in nursing professionals during the care of patients with COVID-19 in the emergency service in a national hospital of MINSA in Lima - 2020

Abstract

PPE in hospitals, clinics or posts for patient care has had great significance. They are first-rate prevention devices that are indispensable and necessary in the fight against Covid-19 to protect health personnel. Objective: Determine the use of personal protective equipment in nursing professionals during care of patients with COVID-19. Material and methods: The present study is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional. The technique that will be used in this study will be observation. To measure the main variable, observation will be used and the Crombach's Alpha Concordance Test will be calculated.

Los EPP en los ámbitos hospitalarios, clínicas o postas para la atención de pacientes ha tenido gran trascendencia son dispositivos de prevención de primer orden indispensables y necesarios en la lucha contra el Covid-19 en protección del personal de salud. Objetivo: Determinar el uso de equipo de protección personal en los profesionales de enfermería durante la atención a pacientes con COVID-19. Material y métodos: El presente estudio es de tipo cuantitativo descriptivo, de corte transversal. La técnica que se utilizará en el presente estudio será la observación.Para medir la variable principal se utilizará observación se calculó la Prueba de Concordancia de Alfa de Crombach.
