Stress level and its relationship with the work performance of nursing staff in the area of ​​the surgical center at the Clínica Internacional in Lima in the year 2023

Abstract

Determine how the level of stress is related to the job performance of nursing staff. The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, cross-sectional correlational non-experimental design, the population will be made up of 80 nursing professionals who they work in the surgical center of the Lima International Headquarters Clinic, the sample will be census because it is a small population. For data collection, two instruments will be used: The Nursing Stress Scale and a Likert scale to measure job performance. These instruments are standardized, however they have validity and reliability in a 2020 Peruvian study, on the other hand, once the information is collected, the data will be processed in the SPSS V26 statistical program, frequency tables, tables and/or graphs will be obtained; In addition, the hypotheses will be contrasted with Spearman's Rho Statistical Correlation Test, having a significance level of p < 0.05.

Determinar como el nivel estrés se relaciona con el desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería. El método será hipotético–deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental correlacional de corte transversal, la población será conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería que trabajan en el centro quirúrgico de la Clínica Internacional Sede Lima, la muestra será censal por ser una población pequeña. Para la recolección de datos se utilizarán dos instrumentos Cuestionario de Escala de Estrés (The Nursing Stress Scale) y una escala de likert para medir el desempeño laboral. Dichos instrumentos son estandarizados sin embargo tienen validez y confiabilidad en un estudio peruano 2020, por otra parte, una vez recolectada la información, los datos serán procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS V26, se obtendrán tablas de frecuencia, tablas y/o gráficos; además, las hipótesis serán contrastadas con la Prueba Estadística de Correlación Rho de Spearman, teniendo un nivel de significancia de p < 0.05.
