Effective nursing interventions to prevent complications after percutaneous catheter insertion in neonates

Abstract

Goals. Systematize the evidence on Effective Nursing Interventions to Prevent Complications Post Percutaneous Catheter Insertion in Neonates. Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading. , using the Grade system to identify its level of evidence. Results: in the final selection 10 articles were chosen, we found that 30% (03) correspond to Brazil, with 20% (02) we find Colombia, while with 20% (02) we find Mexico, with 20 % to Spain, with 10% (01) to the USA respectively. Most of the descriptive, retrospective studies have been studied, with 50%, mainly in the countries of Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Spain. Between revisions Systematic we find the countries of the USA, Colombia, with 20%. And with 20% we have cross-sectional descriptive studies belonging to Mexico and Colombia. Where of the total number of articles analyzed, 90% affirm that Nursing interventions are effective in preventing complications after the insertion of the percutaneous catheter in neonates. Conclusions: It was demonstrated in the studies examined that there are pre-existing Effective Nursing Interventions to Prevent Complications Post Percutaneous Catheter Insertion in Neonates. Effectiveness was shown in terms of knowledge and positive attitude, thus reducing complications in the use of percutaneous catheter in neonates.

Sistematizar la evidencia sobre INTERVENCIONES DE ENFERMERIA EFICACES PARA PREVENIR COMPLICACIONES POST LA INSERCION DEL CATETER PERCUTANEO EN NEONATOS Materiales y Métodos: Revisión Sistemática observacional y retrospectivo, la búsqueda se ha restringido a artículos con texto completo, y los artículos seleccionados se sometieron a una lectura crítica, utilizando el sistema de Grade para identificar su grado de evidencia. Resultados: en la selección definitiva se eligieron 10 artículos, encontramos que el 30% (03) corresponden a Brasil, con un 20% (02) encontramos a Colombia, mientras que con un 20% (02) encontramos a México, con un 20% a España, con un 10% (01) a EEUU respectivamente. Han sido estudiados en su mayoría los estudios descriptivos, retrospectivo, con un 50%, principalmente en los países de Brasil, México, Colombia, y España. Entre revisiones sistemáticas encontramos a los países de EEUU, Colombia, con un 20%. Y con un 20% tenemos a estudios descriptivos transversales pertenecientes a México Y Colombia. Donde del total de artículos analizados el 90% afirma que las intervenciones de Enfermería son eficaces para prevenir complicaciones post la inserción del catéter percutáneo en neonatos. Conclusiones: Se demostró en los estudios examinados que preexiste INTERVENCIONES DE ENFERMERIA EFICACES PARA PREVENIR COMPLICACIONES POST LA INSERCION DEL CATETER PERCUTANEO EN NEONATOS. Se mostró eficacia en cuanto a conocimiento y actitud positiva, reduciendo así las complicaciones en el uso del catéter percutáneo en los neonatos.
