Knowledge about the healing of diabetic foot and practices, of the nursing staff of the surgery service of the regional hospital Hermilio Valdizan Medrano - Huánuco 2022

Abstract

The objective of this research study is to determine the knowledge about diabetic foot care and its relationship with the practices of nursing staff in the surgery department at the Hermilio Valdizan Medrano Regional Hospital – Huánuco 2022. Materials and Methods: This study adopts deductive and observational research methods. The population will consist of 50 nurses from the surgical hospitalization area. The sample will include the entire population. According to the study objectives, two instruments will be used: a knowledge questionnaire on diabetic foot care with 19 closed dichotomous questions, and an observation guide with 15 items. These instruments were developed by Hermes Sandro Fueltala Paz. The data processing plans will be entered into the Microsoft Excel program and analyzed using IBM software, followed by the creation of tables and graphs. A descriptive analysis will be applied, followed by an inferential analysis with hypothesis testing.

El presente estudio de investigación tiene por objetivo Determinar el Conocimiento sobre la curación del pie diabético y su relación con la práctica, del personal de enfermería del servicio de cirugía del Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizan Medrano - Huánuco 2022. Materiales y métodos; este estudio adopta métodos de investigación deductivos y observacional. La población estará conformada por los 50 enfermeros del área de hospitalización de cirugía. La muestra estará conformada por el total de la población, De acuerdo a los objetivos del estudio se utilizarán dos instrumentos: cuestionario de conocimientos sobre la curación del pie diabético de 19 preguntas cerradas dicotómicas, la guía de observación consta de 15 ítems estos instrumentos fueron elaborado por Hermes Sandro Fueltala Paz. Los planes de procesos de datos serán ingresados en el programa Microsoft Excel, se analizarán mediante IBM, para posterior mente graficar tablas y gráficos. Aplicando un análisis descriptivo y luego un análisis inferencial con prueba de hipótesis.
