Burnout syndrome and job performance of nursing staff in the emergency service of an EsSalud hospital. Callao, 2023

Abstract

The objective is to "Determine the relationship that exists between Burnout Syndrome and Labor Performance of nursing staff in the Emergency Service of the Luis Nageires Vega Hospital in Lima, 2023". As a methodology, a hypothetical deductive, quantitative, descriptive, correlational, non-experimental study will be used. Similarly, for this study, the sample will be made up of 96 nursing personnel who actually work in the Hospital Emergency Service (N = 96). On the other hand, each variable will be measured by means of a scale-type survey (questionnaire); For this, each one of the accepted instruments has a reliability of 0.780 of Cronbach for Burnout Syndrome and job performance 0.853. Excel program will be used to store data and SPSS v28 for statistical analysis, the descriptive results will be expressed in frequency in percentage terms and illustrated in graphs, bars and tables; On the other hand, to test the hypotheses, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test will be used. This test will indicate whether the data is of normal or non-normal distribution; therefore, depending on the significance of the variables, Spearman's Rho tests will be used for non-parametric data and Pearson's for parametric data.

El objetivo es “Determinar la relación que existe ente Síndrome de Burnout y Desempeño Laboral del personal de enfermería en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital Luis Negreiros Vega de Lima, 2023”. Como metodología se empleará un estudio hipotético deductivo, cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional, no experimental. De mismo modo, para este estudio la muestra estará conformada por 96 personales de enfermería que efectivamente laboran en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital (N = 96). Por otro lado, a cada variable será medido mediante encuesta (cuestionario) tipo escala; para ello cada uno de los instrumentos acogidos tienen una fiabilidad de 0.780 de Cronbach para para Síndrome de Burnout y desempeño laboral 0.853. Se emplearán programa Excel para almacenar datos y SPSS v28 para el análisis estadístico, los resultados descriptivos será expresada en frecuencia en términos porcentuales e ilustradas en gráficos, barras y tablas; por otro lado, para contrastar las hipótesis se realizará mediante la prueba de Kolmogórov-Smirnov, está prueba nos indicará si los datos están de distribución normal o no normal; por tanto, conforme la significancia que tengan las variables se empleará las pruebas Rho de Spearman para datos no paramétricas y Pearson para datos paramétricas.
