Strategies for coping with work stress and resilience in the nursing staff of a hospital in Lima 2024

Abstract

The objective of this research work is: Determine how stress coping strategies are related to the resilience of the nursing staff of a hospital in Lima 2024. The methodology that will be used in this research will be hypothetical deductive, in terms of approach, The quantitative nomination will be used, of an applied type and with a correlational level, and it will also present a nonexperimental and cross-sectional design. In this research, there will be a population of 200 nursing professionals and as a sample of 132 professionals who will be selected from randomly through probabilistic sampling, in addition, there will be two instruments, the COPE-28 instrument and the Wagnild & Young Resilience Scale, subsequently, the instruments will be applied to the sample, the data will be processed in an Excel sheet that It will allow, through the SPSS v.26 program, to apply the Kolmogorov Smirnov homogeneity test to evaluate the distribution of the variables and, finally, the Rho Spearman correlation test will be used to test the hypotheses.

El presente trabajo de investigación presentó como “Determinar cómo las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés se relacionan con la resiliencia del personal de enfermería de un hospital de Lima 2024”. La metodología utilizada en esta investigación fue hipotético deductivo, en cuanto al enfoque, se usó la nominación cuantitativa, de tipo aplicada y con nivel correlacional, así mismo presenta un diseño no experimental y de corte transversal, en la presente investigación contó con una población conformada por 200 profesionales de enfermería y como muestra se contó con 132 profesionales seleccionados de manera aleatoria mediante un muestreo probabilístico, además, se contó con dos instrumentos siendo el instrumento COPE-28 y la Escala de Resiliencia de Wagnild & Young, posteriormente, los instrumentos será aplicados a la muestra, se procesaran los datos en una hoja de Excel que permitirá mediante el programa de SPSS v.26 aplicar la prueba de homogeneidad de Kolmogorov Smirnov para evaluar la distribución de las variables y, finalmente se utilizará la prueba de correlación de Rho Spearman para la comprobación de hipótesis.
