Knowledge and attitude of the nursing professional towards the adverse effects in the administration of medications and interactions in the intensive care unit in a private clinic in Lima - 2023

Abstract

Introduction: It is of great value to know how to identify drug interactions in time to avoid adverse events, inductions to nursing staff, will mitigate failures that may occur in the future in Intensive Care Units, constant information, training and Recognition of them will allow us to have a quick, effective and decisive response in the first minutes of the event, and thus be able to avoid escalations to greater complications or in the first instance to eradicate them, this will be hand in hand with all the nursing professionals. who uses the ICU. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge and attitude of the nursing professional towards the adverse effects in the administration of medications and interactions in a private clinic in Lima 2023. Method: it will be an investigation with a hypothetical-deductive method, which used a non-specific design. experimental, quantitative, correlational and the population consisted of 80 specialist nurses, including the head nurse. Data collection: 2 questionnaires will be used, the first will measure the level of knowledge of the nursing professional consisting of 10 items; the second is a Likert Scale-type questionnaire that has 14 items; both instruments validated and reliable through Cronbach's Alpha.

Es de gran valor saber identificar a tiempo las interacciones de medicamentos para así evitar evento adversos, las inducciones al personal de enfermería, mitigará las fallas que se puedan presentar en un futuro en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos, la información constante, capacitación y reconocimiento de los mismos nos permitirá tener una respuesta rápida, eficaz y determinante en los primeros minutos del evento, y así poder evitar las escalas a mayores complicaciones o en primera instancia a erradicar los mismos, esto estará de la mano con todo el profesional de enfermería que hace uso de la UCI. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel del conocimiento y actitud del profesional de enfermería ante los efectos adversos en la administración de medicamentos e interacciones en una clínica privada en Lima 2023. Método: será una investigación con método hipotético-deductivo, el cual se empleó un diseño no experimental, cuantitativo, correlacional y la población estuvo conformada por 80 enfermeros especialistas, incluyendo el jefe de enfermeros. Recolección de datos: Se utilizarán 2 cuestionarios, el primero medirá el nivel de conocimiento del profesional de enfermería que consta de 10 ítems; el segundo se trata de un cuestionario de tipo Escala de Likert que cuenta con 14 ítems; ambos instrumentos validados y confiables a través del Alfa de Cronbach.
