Family functionality and adherence to treatment of type 2 diabetic patients at the Luis Negreiros Vega III Primary Care Center, Callao 2022.

Abstract

To determine the relationship between family functionality and adherence to treatment in type 2 diabetic patients at the Luis Negreiros Vega Primary Care Center III, Callao 2022. Material and method: The research method will be hypothetical-deductive, the quantitative approach, the applied type, and the correlational design. The study population will be made up of 90 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who attend the Luis Negreiros Vega Primary Care Center III in Callao. The sample will be the same census population because it is finite (<100); it will not be necessary to calculate the sample; that is, it is 90 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The technique that will be used in this research study will be the survey. There are two instruments; the first the family apgar test (adaptation, participation, growth, affection and resources; the second the mbg questionnaire (active compliance, autonomy before treatment and complexity of adherence). The validation of the instruments by means of the binomial test (p = 0.025 and p = 0.022). The reliability of the instruments by means of the cronbach alpha coefficient (α = 0.840 and 0.889). Data processing will be carried out using the Microsoft excel 2019 program and the Spss 26.0 statistical program, descriptive statistics will be applied to perform the analysis of tabulated data in tables and figures; later, Spearman's rho correlation statistical test to determine the relationship between variables.

Determinar la relación que existe entre la funcionalidad familiar y la adherencia al tratamiento del paciente diabético tipo 2 del Centro de Atención Primaria III Luis Negreiros Vega, Callao 2022. Material y método: el método de la investigación será hipotético-deductivo, el enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo aplicada, y el diseño correlacional. la población de estudio estará constituida por 90 pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 que asisten al Centro de Atención Primaria III Luis Negreiros Vega del Callao. la muestra será la misma población censal por ser finita (<100); no será necesario el cálculo de la muestra; es decir, es de 90 pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2. la técnica que se utilizará en el presente estudio de investigación será la encuesta. Los instrumentos son dos; el primero el test apgar familiar (adaptación, participación, crecimiento, afecto y recursos; el segundo el cuestionario mbg (cumplimiento activo, autonomía ante el tratamiento y complejidad de la adherencia). la validación de los instrumentos mediante la prueba binominal (p = 0.025 y p = 0.022). la confiabilidad de los instrumentos mediante el coeficiente alfa de cronbach (α = 0.840 y 0.889). El procesamiento de datos se realizará mediante el programa Microsoft excel 2019 y el programa estadístico Spss 26.0, se aplicará la estadística descriptiva para realizar el análisis de datos tabulados en tablas y figuras; posteriormente, prueba estadística de correlación rho de Spearman para determinar la relación entre variables.
