Level of knowledge and its application in the steam sterilization process in the nursing staff in the sterilization center of the National Hospital Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo, Chiclayo, 2021

Abstract

Methodology: quantitative approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population to be studied will be the total of the 40 nursing staff, who work in the Sterilization Center of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo National Hospital, selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Techniques and Instruments for data collection: The survey technique will be used for the variable level of knowledge; and for the case of the variable application of the sterilization process, an observation guide will be used. Procedures: Data collection will be carried out over a 2-month period, at the Sterilization Center of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo National Hospital. Once the data has been collected using the instrument, it will be entered into a database in the SPSS Version 24.0 program. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive analysis, tables will be used, which will be described and interpreted.

Metodología: enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental de corte transversal. la población a estudiar será el total del personal de enfermería que son 40, que laboran en Central de Esterilización del Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo seleccionados acorde a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Técnicas e Instrumentos de recolección de datos: Se usará la técnica de la encuesta para la variable nivel de conocimiento; y para el caso de la variable aplicación del proceso de esterilización una guía de observación. Procedimientos: la recolección de datos se realizará en 2 meses, en Central de Esterilización del Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo. Teniendo recolectada los datos mediante el instrumento, se ingresarán a una base en el programa SPSS Versión 24.0. Análisis Estadístico: Para el análisis descriptivo se usará las tablas, las mismas que serán descritas e interpretadas.
