Burnout syndrome in nursing professionals who work in the COVID intensive care unit of a national hospital in Lima, 2021

Abstract

This project will be carried out in the covid 1 intensive care unit of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Hospital during the third quarter of 2021, in which exclusively the nursing staff who work in the area will participate. OBJECTIVE Our general objective is to establish the level of Burnout Syndrome in Nursing professionals who work in the COVID Intensive Care Unit. METHODOLOGY will be based on a cross-sectional descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The study will be carried out with the entire population, that is, 35 nurses. For data collection, the Malash Burnout Inventory – HS questionnaire will be applied as an instrument. To collect the information, authorization will be requested from the personnel in charge of the hospital's training and teaching area to carry out the project, proceeding to apply the instrument with prior informed consent. After obtaining the data, they will be entered into the statistical software and the results will be expressed in tables.

El presente proyecto se llevará a cabo en la unidad de cuidados intensivos covid 1 del Hospital Alberto Sabogal Sologuren durante el tercer trimestre del 2021 en el que participaran exclusivamente el personal de enfermería que labora en el área. OBJETIVO nuestro objetivo general es Establecer el nivel del Síndrome de Burnout en profesionales de Enfermería que laboran en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos COVID, METODOLOGÍA se basara en un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal de enfoque cuantitativo. El estudio se realizará con la totalidad de población, es decir 35 enfermeras, para la recolección de datos se aplicará como instrumento el cuestionario de Malash Burnout Inventory – HS. Para la recolección de la información se solicitará autorización al personal encargado del área de capacitación y docencia del hospital para la realización del proyecto, procediendo a la aplicación del instrumento previo consentimiento informado. Luego de la obtención de los datos, estos serán ingresados al software estadístico y los resultados serán expresados en tablas.
