Burnout syndrome in nurses of the intensive care unit of the san isidro labrador hospital during the health emergency due to COVID -19, Lima 2020

Abstract

Objective: To determine the prevalence of high levels of burnout syndrome in nurses from the intensive care unit of the Hospital II Geriatric Clinic San Isidro Labrador, Santa Anita - Lima 2020. Materials and Methods: The study method will be quantitative, and the design is non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional. In the study, the entire population will be worked with, involving the participation of 60 specialist nurses from the Hospital II Geriatric Clinic San Isidro Labrador, Santa Anita, who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria, respectively. The data collection technique will be the survey, and the data collection instrument used was the Maslach Burnout Inventory Service survey (MBI-HSS) with 22 items.

Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de los niveles altos de síndrome de Burnout en las enfermeras de la unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital II clínica geriátrica San Isidro Labrador, Santa Anita - Lima 2020. Material y método: El método del estudio será el cuantitativo y el diseño es no experimental, descriptivo y de corte transversal. En el estudio se trabajará con la población total, contando con la participación de 60 enfermeras especialistas del hospital II clínica geriátrica San Isidro Labrador, Santa Anita, que cumplieran con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, respectivamente. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos utilizado fue el cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory Service survey(MBI- HSS) con 22 ítems.
