Knowledge and practice on prevention of iron deficiency anemia in mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months in Santa Cruz Health Center - Cajamarca 2021

Abstract

Aim. Determine the relationship that exists between knowledge and practices on the prevention of iron deficiency anemia in mothers of children from 6 to 36 months at the Santa Cruz Health Center - Cajamarca 2021. Methodology. It is a study of a hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach; descriptive and applied non-experimental cross-sectional and correlational design. The survey technique was used and as instruments were two questionnaires, the population will be made up of 155 mothers from the Santa Cruz – Cajamarca health center. A simple random probabilistic sampling is carried out, with the population sample of mothers being 111, which will be applied for data collection at the Santa Cruz Cajamarca health center.

Objetivo. Determinar la relación que existe entre conocimiento y prácticas sobre prevención de anemia ferropénica en madres de niños de 6 a 36 meses en el Centro de Salud Santa Cruz – Cajamarca 2021.Metodología. Es un estudio de método hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo; de tipo descriptivo y aplicada Diseño no experimental de corte transversal y correlacional. Se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y como Instrumentos fueron dos cuestionarios la población estará conformada por 155 madres del centro de salud Santa Cruz –Cajamarca. Se realiza un muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple siendo la muestra poblacional de las madres es 111 la cual serán aplicadas para la recopilación de datos en el centro de salud Santa Cruz Cajamarca.
