Satisfaction with the functioning of the family and the quality of life of the patient undergoing hemodialysis treatment in a Renal Clinic in Lima, 2022

Abstract

Introduction: The burden of chronic kidney disease in hemodialysis patients burdens and complicates the economy of families and their systemic functioning, with consequences for the patient's quality of life. It creates emotional bonds within family members, who have the ability to change their structure and overcome barriers. In fact, the renal patient perceives family functions and can express their satisfaction with the fulfillment of some basic parameters. Objective: To determine how satisfaction with family functioning relates to the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment at a renal clinic in Lima, 2022. Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional. A census of 75 patients undergoing hemodialysis in renal replacement therapy will be conducted between May 2022 and June 2022. Surveys will be applied using proven and reliable tools to assess satisfaction with family functioning using the Family APGAR, and to measure the perception of quality of life with the health of patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis treatment, the KDQOLSF36 Mexican version will be used.

El Estudio Será Observacional, Descriptivo, Correlacional Y Transversal. Se Pretende Realizar Un Censo De 75 Pacientes En Hemodiálisis En Tratamiento Renal Sustitutivo Entre Mayo De 2022 Y Junio De 2022. Se Les Aplicarán Encuestas Utilizando Herramientas Probadas Y Confiables Para Estimar La Satisfacción Del Funcionamiento De Su Familia Con El Apgar Familiar Y, Para Medir La Percepción De La Calidad De Vida Con La Salud Que Tienen Los Pacientes Con Enfermedad Renal Crónica En Tratamiento De Hemodiálisis Se Usará El Cuestionario De Calidad De Vida Kdqol-Sf36 Versión Mexicana.
