Adverse events and culture of patient safety of the Maria Auxiliadora’s Nursing professional – Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: "To determine the relationship that exists between adverse events and the culture of patient safety of the Nursing staff", research that will be applied to a sample of 212 nursing professionals who work at the Maria Auxiliadora Hospital. Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied, observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional design. Instruments: To evaluate the variable "Adverse Events" the instrument designed by Landires in 2021 will be used, reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha of 9.58 and to evaluate the variable "Safety Culture" the instrument authored by the Medical Office Survey will be used. on Patient Safety Culture (MOSPS), modified by Lázaro in Peru 2021, reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.734; The technique for data collection will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: they will be organized in tables and processed in the statistical program SPSS 27, represented by frequency tables and graphs with percentages, the statistical analysis will be through parametric statistical tests (Pearson Correlation) or non-parametric (Correlation Spearman's Rho).

Determinar la relación que existe entre los eventos adversos y cultura de seguridad del paciente del profesional de Enfermería, investigación que se aplicara sobre una muestra de 212 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Hospital María Auxiliadora. Diseño Metodológico: El tipo de investigación será aplicada, diseño observacional, descriptivo, correlacional y transversal. Instrumentos: Para evaluar la variable “Eventos Adversos” se utilizará el instrumento diseñado por Landires en el año 2021, confiable con un Alfa de Cronbach de 9.58 y para evaluar la variable “Cultura de Seguridad” se utilizará el instrumento de autoría de Medical Office Survery on Patient Safety Culture (MOSPS), modificado por Lázaro en el Perú 2021, confiable con un Alpha de Cronbach de 0.734; la técnica para la recolección de datos será la encuesta. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: serán organizados en tablas y procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS 27, representados mediante tablas de frecuencia y gráficos con porcentajes, el análisis estadístico será a través de pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Correlación Rho de Spearman)
