Adherence to multimicronutrient supplementation in mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months from a health center, Peru 2020

Abstract

Objective: Determine adherence to multimicronutrient supplementation in mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months from a Peru 2020 health center. Materials and methods: This study will have a quantitative approach and the methodological design that will be used will be descriptive and cross-sectional. The population and sample will be made up of 120 mothers of children from 6 to 36 months who attend a health center in Peru. In this research, the technique that will be used will be the survey, which will provide us with important and effective information. To carry out this research, the questionnaire developed by Delgado et al. will be used. (16) titled “Questionnaire addressed to the mother of a child from 6 to 36 months” for their research carried out in Tumbes-Peru during 2016. This instrument with a Likert scale consists of 19 questions that were grouped according to the factors of adherence to evaluate: social factor (5 questions), factor associated with the health personnel (4 questions), factor associated with the treatment (4 questions), and factor associated with the person providing the treatment (6 questions). A score of 1 to 3 points will be assigned, meaning low, regular and high adherence, respectively.

Objetivo: Determinar la adherencia a la suplementación con multimicronutrientes en madres de niños de 6 a 36 meses de un centro de salud Perú 2020. Materiales y métodos: Este estudio será enfoque cuantitativo y el diseño metodológico que se utilizará será descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población y muestra estará conformada por 120 madres de niños de 6 a 36 meses que frecuentan un centro de salud en Perú. En esta investigación la técnica que se utilizará será la encuesta, la cual nos brindará una información importante y eficaz. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se utilizará el cuestionario elaborado por Delgado et al. (16) titulado “Cuestionario dirigido a la madre del niño de 6 a 36 meses” para su investigación realizada en Tumbes-Perú durante el año 2016. Este instrumento con escala de Likert consta de 19 preguntas que fueron agrupadas según los factores de adherencia a evaluar: factor social (5 preguntas), factor asociado al personal de salud (4 preguntas), factor asociado con el tratamiento (4 preguntas), y factor asociado a la persona que suministra el tratamiento (6 preguntas). Se asignará un puntaje de 1 a 3 puntos, cuyo significado será adherencia baja, regular y alta, respectivamente.
