Knowledge and care of the central venous catheter in nurses of the oncology service of a private clinic, Lima-2022

Abstract

Introduction: At present, cancer patients are more frequently seen to be carriers of a Central Venous Catheter, which is why knowledge and care of them is relevant, for this reason, the present objective is to "determine the relationship between the Knowledge and care of the central venous catheter in nurses of the oncology service of a private clinic, Lima-2022. Method: quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population will be made up of 35 nursing professionals, for this reason it will not have a sample since it will work with the total population, the instruments that will be applied are two questionnaires, one that will measure the knowledge variable and the other central venous catheter care variable. They will carry out the corresponding coordination with the authorities of the private clinic to carry out the surveys, after which a database will be created in the statistical software SPSS V25. To test the hypothesis, Spearman's RHO will be used, the results will be shown through graphs and tables, which will be used to compare the results with the background in the discussion and will allow conclusions and recommendations to be obtained.

Los pacientes oncológicos en la actualidad es más frecuente ver que son portadores de un Catéter Venoso Central, es por ello que es relevante el conocimiento y el cuidado de los mismos, por ello, el presente tiene como Objetivo “determinar la relación entre los conocimientos y cuidados del catéter venoso central en enfermeras del servicio de oncología de una clínica privada, lima-2022”. Método: cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La población estará compuesta por 35 profesionales en enfermería, por esta razón no contará con muestra puesto que trabajará con la población total, los instrumentos que se aplicarán son dos cuestionarios uno que medirá la variable conocimientos y la otra variable cuidados del catéter venoso central, se realizarán las coordinaciones correspondientes con las autoridades de la clínica privada para realizar las encuestas, posterior a ellos se creará una base de datos en el software estadístico SPSS V25. Para probar la hipótesis sé utilizará RHO de Spearman, los resultados se mostrarán mediante de gráficos y tablas, los cuales se utilizarán para constatar los resultados con los antecedentes en la discusión y permitirán obtener las conclusiones y recomendaciones.
