Nursing knowledge and practice in the care of polytraumatized patients in the shock trauma service of a hospital, Lima, 2023

Abstract

This project aims to: Determine the relationship between Knowledge and practice of nurses in the care of multiple trauma patients in the shock trauma service. The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; The sample will be made up of 80 nurses, the instruments that will be used for the research project will be applied 2 questionnaires: the first instrument is of level of knowledge and is divided into five dimensions: airway management, ventilation, circulation, neurological and exposure to patient, adding a total of 20 items. and the practice instrument for nurses, which are already validated. Level of knowledge was calculated through Cronbach's alpha index and achieving a final value of 0.796%, a figure that indicates that the instrument is reliable. Practice Considering the Evaluation guide as an instrument was 0.804.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre Conocimiento y practica de enfermería en el cuidado del paciente politraumatizado en el servicio de trauma shock. La metodología: metodo hipotetico deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal; la muestra estará constituida por 80 enfermeras, los instrumentos que se usarán para el proyecto de investigación se aplicaran 2 cuestionarios: primer instrumento es de nivel de conocimiento y está dividido en cinco dimensiones: manejo de vías aéreas, ventilación, circulación, neurológico y exposición al paciente, sumando un total de 20 ítems. y el instrumento de practica de las enfermeras, los cuales ya están validados, Nivel de conocimiento se calculó a través del índice de alfa de Cronbach y logrando en valor final de 0.796% cifra que indica que el instrumento es confiable. Practica Considerando como instrumento la guía de Evaluación fue de 0,804.
