Burnout syndrome in the nursing professional who works in the emergency service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital - 2021

Abstract

The present study is carried out within the framework of research into nursing care in emergencies and disasters. Objective: to analyze the level of Burnout Syndrome in the nursing professional who works in the emergency service of the Hipólito Unanue national hospital -2021. Materials and methods: The approach to be used in this study is quantitative, and the design to be addressed is non-experimental, descriptive-cross-sectional. The population will be made up of 60 nursing professionals who work in the emergency service. The technique to be used will be the survey and the instrument that will be used will be the questionnaire called Maslach Burnout Inventory, which is internationally and nationally validated. It is made up of 22 items, organized into 3 dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of personal fulfillment. The global score ranges between 0 and 132 points, with its final values ​​being: high, medium and low level of Burnout Syndrome.

El presente estudio se realiza en el marco de la investigación del cuidado enfermero en emergencias y desastres. Objetivo: analizar el nivel del Síndrome de Burnout en el profesional de enfermería que labora en el servicio de emergencia del hospital nacional Hipólito Unanue -2021. Materiales y métodos: El enfoque a emplearse en este estudio es el cuantitativo, y el diseño a abordarse es el no experimental, descriptivo-transversal. La población estará conformada por 60 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el servicio de emergencia. La técnica a utilizarse será la encuesta y el instrumento que se empleará será el cuestionario denominado Maslach Burnout Inventory, el cual se encuentra validado internacional y nacionalmente. Está compuesto por 22 ítems, organizados en 3 dimensiones: agotamiento emocional, despersonalización y falta de realización personal. La puntuación global oscila entre 0 y 132 puntos, siendo sus valores finales: alto, medio y bajo nivel de Síndrome de Burnout.
