The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the Emergency service of a hospital in the Pasco region - 2023. According to the methodology, a hypothetical-deductive method was used, basic type, quantitative approach and correlational design. The survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. The sample consisted of 92 patients who were admitted to the emergency department between August and November 2022. In relation to the validity of the instruments, for the variable quality of nursing care, an expert judgment test was performed, then the Kappa index was used, obtaining a result of 77.96%, which indicates good concordance, also, the Cronbach's alpha obtained was 0.89, indicating high overall reliability. On the other hand, to obtain the validity of the second variable, customer satisfaction, an expert judgment test was used, the Kappa index was applied, the result of which was 66.86%, showing good concordance, and Cronbach's alpha was 0.80.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación de la calidad del cuidado de enfermería con la satisfacción del paciente en el Servicio de Emergencia de un Hospital de la Región de Pasco,2023. Método y población: Se utilizará el método hipotético-deductivo, implica formular una hipótesis, hacer predicciones basadas en ella, recopilar datos para probar esas predicciones y analizar los resultados. Ayuda a probar y validar ideas en la investigación científica. La población fue de 120 usuarios ingresadas al servicio de emergencia en los meses de marzo a agosto del 2023. Bajo un nivel de confianza del 95% y un margen de error del 5%, la muestra total de este estudio será de 92 pacientes. Asimismo, se optará por un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, lo cual implica que los pacientes que sean más fácilmente accesibles o estén disponibles en el momento del estudio.
