Factors related to the level of knowledge of the mother of a child under 5 years of age about vaccination in a Lima healthy center in 2023

Abstract

This present paper aims to determine the factors related to the level of knowledge of the mother of a five-year-old child about vaccination in a Lima Health Center - 2023. The methodology used is a hypothetical deductive applied model, non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design. A total of 1080 mothers were recruited for this study who have children under five years of age, obtaining a sample of 283 mothers attending the Lima Health Center who meet the inclusion criteria, with a non-probabilistic sampling. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. The results will then be compiled and analyzed by the statistical program using chi-square analysis, and consequently the characteristics found will be plotted. The inferential analysis will be carried out to verify the relationship of the variables.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar los factores relacionados con el nivel de conocimiento de la madre del menor de cinco años edad sobre la vacunación en un centro de salud de Lima – 2023. El método que se utiliza es hipotético deductivo de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental transversal correlacional. La población será compuesta por 1080 madres del menor de cinco años, obteniendo una muestra de 283 madres que asisten al centro de salud de Lima y que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión, con un muestreo de tipo no probabilístico. Siendo la técnica la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario. Para luego recopilar los resultados y ser analizados por el programa estadístico con el uso del análisis de chi cuadrado, para luego pasar a graficar las características encontradas. El análisis inferencial se realizará para comprobar la relación de las variables.
