Level of anxiety and depression in adult patients on hemodialysis at the multiservice clinic, Independencia, 2023

Abstract

With the general objective of determining how the level of anxiety is related to depression in patients with chronic renal failure, undergoing hemodialysis treatment; A research project was developed with a hypothetical deductive method with a quantitative approach of an applicative type with a non-experimental, cross-correlational design. The samples were made based on a total of 60 patients of both sexes between the ages of 25- and 75-years undergoing hemodialysis treatment at the Multiservicios clinic, Independencia, of the type of census study. The instrument that was used was the technical sheet of the Hamilton anxiety scale and the technical sheet of the Hamilton depression scale. The results will be determined prior to the execution of the project. In conclusion, there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of anxiety and depression in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis treatment, at the Multiservicios clinic, Independencia, 2023.

Con el objetivo general de determinar como el nivel de ansiedad se relaciona con la depresión en los pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica, sometidos a tratamiento de hemodialisis; se desarrolló un proyecto de investigación con método hipotético deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo de tipo aplicativo con diseño no experimental, transversal- correlacional. La muestras se realizó en base al total de 60 pacientes de ambos sexos entre las edades de 25 a 75 años en tratamiento de hemodiálisis de la clínica Multiservicios, Independencia, de tipo de estudio censal. El instrumento que se utilizó fue la ficha técnica de la escala de ansiedad de Hamilton y la ficha técnica de la escala de depresión de Hamilton. Los resultados se determinaran previo ejecución del proyecto. En conclusion, existe relación estadística mente significativa entre el nivele de ansiedad y depresión en los pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica en tratamiento de hemodiálisis, en la clínica Multiservicios, Independencia, 2023.
