Stress and work performance of nurses in the emergency department of the Edgardo Rebagliati Hospital - Lima, 2022

Abstract

Work stress in Nursing, although it has an impact on the daily activities of the individual, in recent times many have become aware of the consequences and give greater importance to their health and their work, which is why job performance is expected to be better in the service. emergency. Objective: Determine the relationship between stress and job performance in the emergency service nurse at the Edgardo Rebagliati Hospital, 2022. Methods: hypothetical deductive, quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional and non-experimental study. The finite population will consist of 100 nursing care professionals from the nursing service. The survey will be used for both questionnaires on a Likert-type scale for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman correlation coefficient statistical test given the qualitative nature of the variables.

El estrés laboral en Enfermería, aunque repercute en las actividades diarias del individuo, en estos últimos tiempos muchos toman conciencia de las consecuencias y dan una mayor importancia a su salud y a su labor, por ello el desempeño laboral se espera que sea mejor en el servicio emergencia. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estrés con el desempeño laboral en el enfermero del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati, 2022. Métodos: estudio de tipo hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, correlacional, transversal y no experimental. La población finita estará constituida por 100 profesionales de enfermería asistenciales del servicio de enfermería. Se usará la encuesta para ambos cuestionarios en escala de tipo Likert para la población objetivo, están validados y son confiables para medir las variables en cuestión. Los datos recolectados serán procesados en SPSS 25 y las hipótesis se probarán usando la prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman dado la naturaleza cualitativa de las variables.
