Level of knowledge about renal replacement therapy and its adherence in patients who come to a specialized renal center

Abstract

The thesis project aims to determine the level of knowledge about renal replacement therapy and its adherence in patients who attend a specialized renal center; which is of hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, basic research type and non-experimental design; it has a population of 80 hemodialysis patients and will use non-probabilistic sampling only taking patients with arteriovenous fistula and who come on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for their treatment; applying in them 2 questionnaires with a statistical reliability according to the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient of 0.79 and 0.75 respectively.

El proyecto de tesis tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre terapia de reemplazo renal y su adherencia en pacientes que acuden a un Centro Renal Especializado; el cuál es de método hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación básica y de diseño no experimental; cuenta con una población de 80 pacientes hemodializados y utilizará el muestreo no probabilístico solo tomando a los pacientes portadores de fistula arteriovenosa y que acuden los días lunes, miércoles y viernes por su tratamiento; aplicando en ellos 2 cuestionarios con una confiabilidad estadística según el Coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach de 0,79 y 0,75 respectivamente.
