Knowledge of family care and its relationship with the practice in post-operated cataract patients at the eye institute of Oftalmosalud, November – February 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the level of knowledge of family care and its relationship with practice in post-cataract surgery patients in the ophthalmosalud eye clinic, period November to February 2021. Material and methods: logical deductive study, quantitative approach, applied type, design correlational methodological, total population 107 post-cataract surgery patients along with their caregivers meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria, survey technique applied, 1st instrument to measure the level of knowledge is a questionnaire type consisting of 12 questions are applied to the family caregiver after informed consent, applying the measurement scale: high, medium and low. The 2nd instrument consists of an observation checklist consisting of 6 dimensions each with 3 questions to measure the level of practice in caring for the post-operative patient. When processing our research data using tables and graphs.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento del cuidado familiar y su relación con la práctica en pacientes post operado de Catarata en la clinica de ojos oftalmosalud, periodo noviembre a febrero 2021. Material y métodos: estudio logico deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño metodológico correlacional, población total 107 pacientes post operado de catarata junto con sus cuidadores cumpliendo los criterios de inclusión y exclusion, técnica aplicada encuesta, 1er intrumento para medir el nivel de conocimiento es tipo cuestionario consta de 12 preguntas se aplica al familiar cuidador previo consentimiento informado, aplicando la escala de medición: alto, medio y bajo. 2do instrumento consta de un check list de observación consta de 6 dimensiones cada una con 3 preguntas para medir el nivel de práctica en el cuidado del paciente post operado. Al procesar los datos de nuestra investigación mediante cuadros y graficos.
