Biopsychosocial factors and compliance with growth and development control in mothers of children under 5 years of age, at the Catalina Huanca Health Center in Lima - 2023

Abstract

The objective of the work is to determine how biopsychosocial factors are related to the level at which the mother complies with the control of growth and development in her children under 5 years of age. For this, the study is developed with a hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach in a non-experimental cross-sectional and correlational design, the census sample will consist of 98 mothers; Through the use of the survey and a questionnaire, the biopsychosocial factors will be evaluated, also considering an observation sheet to evaluate compliance with the controls, the data collected will be evaluated by the SPSS 27.0 statistical package, providing both descriptive and inferential results, achieving the objective. of the study and checking the hypotheses where the normality test will be applied first to determine the statistical test to be used, if the data are parametric or non-parametric, tests such as Pearson, Chi square, Spearman, among others, will be used, and thus provide conclusions that help to improve the problematic situation found.

El trabajo tiene como objetivo el poder determinar cómo los factores biopsicosociales se relacionan con el nivel en el cual la madre cumple con el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en sus niños menores de 5 años. Para ello el estudio se desarrolla con un método hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo en un diseño no experimental de corte transversal y correlacional, la muestra censal estará constituida por 98 madres; mediante el uso de la encuesta y un cuestionario se evaluara los factores biopsicosociales considerando además una ficha de observación para evaluar el cumplimiento de los controles, los datos recolectados serán evaluados por el paquete estadístico SPSS 27.0, brindado resultados tanto descriptivos como inferenciales, logrando el objetivo del estudio y comprobando las hipótesis donde se aplicara primero la prueba de normalidad para determinar la prueba estadística a utilizar, si los datos son paramétricos o no paramétricos se usaran prueba de Spearman entre otros, y así brindar conclusiones que ayuden a mejorar la situación problemática que se encuentre.
