Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) describes stress as a natural state of the body when faced with a stimulus that generates mental tension and worry. According to the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), psychosocial risks and work stress are no stranger to any person, even less so if we talk about the world of work. According to the Ministry of Health (MINSA), high levels of stress affect mental health, seeing it as a fundamental reason to take care of the health of health workers. Objective: “Determine the relationship between work stress and psychosocial risks in nursing staff of the emergency area of a hospital of Pasco”. Methodology": The research will be based on a deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, nonexperimental design, cross-sectional, correlational descriptive level. The population will be made up of all nursing staff who work in the emergency area of both sexes. The sample will be nonprobabilistic for convenience. The technique will be the survey through two instruments; First questionnaire, modified work stress scale according to ILO-WHO, “consists of 25 items, has a reliability of 0.966 according to Cronbach's Alpha, considered a very high level of reliability. the second CENSOPAS COPSOQ questionnaire, a validated medium version of the CoPsoQISTAS21”, with an alpha and omega reliability value >0.70, which contains 112 questions grouped into 8 categories that evaluate 20 psychosocial dimensions. For the execution of the project, the approval from Norbert Wiener University.
Resumen
La OMS describe al estrés como un estado natural del cuerpo frente a un estímulo que genera tensión mental, preocupación. La Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS), los riesgos psicosociales y el estrés laboral no es ajeno a ninguna persona aún menos si hablamos del mundo de trabajo. El MINSA identifica que estrés afecta y desestabiliza el estado de bienestar de la persona viendo como motivo fundamental cuidar la salud de los trabajadores en salud.
