Level of knowledge and attitude about biosafety measures in the nursing staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, Lima 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study project was to "Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude regarding biosafety measures in the nursing staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza national hospital, Lima 2023." Likewise, the methodology will apply a hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative approach, the type of research is applied, the research design is non-experimental with a crosssection and correlational scope between the two variables. In addition, the sample will be made up of the total population of 75 nursing staff from the Surgical Center. For the first and second variables, instruments already validated with a reliability analysis will be applied, for the first knowledge variable in the data collection of the questionnaire. It was made up of 27 questions with an ordinal scale with a Kuder Richardson coefficient or KR20, with a result of 0.751, acceptable for research purposes. The reliability with respect to the second instrument was obtained by applying “Cronbach's alpha” test, according to Alayo and Diestra. with a result of 0.854. Consequently, the use of the “SPSS 20” statistical package is established where the information obtained will be coded and entered with “Microsoft Excel 2020” (code table and data matrix table). Finally, they will be exported to SPSS version 26 statistical software for data processing and analysis.

El presente proyecto de estudio tuvo como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre medidas de bioseguridad en el personal de enfermería de centro quirúrgico del hospital nacional Arzobispo Loayza, Lima 2023”. Asimismo, en la metodología se aplicará el método hipotético-deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación aplicada, el diseño de investigación es no experimental con un corte transversal y de alcance correlacional entre las dos variables. Además, la muestra estará conformada por el total de población de 75 personal de enfermería en Centro quirúrgico, para la primera y segunda variable se aplicarán instrumentos ya validados con un análisis de confiabilidad, para la primera variable de conocimiento en la recolección de datos del cuestionario estuvo conformado por 27 preguntas con escala ordinal con un coeficiente Kuder Richardson o KR20, teniendo como resultado de 0.75, aceptable para fines de investigación, la confiabilidad respecto al segundo instrumento se obtuvo aplicando la prueba “alfa de Cronbach”, según Alayo y Diestra con resultado de 0.854. Por consiguiente, se establece el uso del paquete estadístico “SPSS 20” donde la información obtenida será codificada y digitada con “Microsoft Excel 2020” (tabla de códigos y tabla matriz de datos). Por último, serán exportados al software estadístico SPSS versión 26 para el proceso y análisis de datos
