Level of knowledge about acute diarrheal diseases with prevention practices in mothers of children under 5 years of age of the CRED program of the C.S., of San Juan de Amancaes- Lima- 2022

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge about acute diarrheal diseases and prevention practices in mothers of children under 5 years of age in the CRED program of the CS, San Juan de Amancaes- Lima- 2022. Material and method: This research has a quantitative approach, because data collection is used to demonstrate the hypothesis based on statistical analysis and the analysis of the qualities or attributes described to determine the results of the behavior models in a population. Results. The sociodemographic data show that in age 89% are between 20 and 30 years old, 10% between 31 and 40 years old; Regarding origin, 47% are from the mountains, 37% from the coast, 10% from the jungle and 6% are foreigners; in marital status, 51% are single, 31% cohabiting, 14% married, 3% divorced and 1% widowed. In terms of knowledge about acute diarrheal diseases in the definition dimension, 39% are high, 33% indicate low knowledge, and 28% indicate medium knowledge. In terms of knowledge about acute diarrheal diseases in the preventive measures dimension, 40% are high, 31% indicate low knowledge, and 29% indicate medium knowledge. In terms of knowledge about acute diarrheal diseases in the treatment dimension, 42% are high, 29% indicate low knowledge, and 29% indicate medium knowledge. There is a 66% relationship between the level of knowledge about acute diarrheal diseases and prevention practices.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento sobre las enfermedades diarreicas agudas con las prácticas de prevención en madres de niños menores de 5 años del programa de CRED del C.S., de San Juan de Amancaes- Lima- 2022. Material y método: Esta investigación tiene enfoque cuantitativo, porque se utiliza la recolección de datos para hacer la demostración de la hipótesis sustentado en el análisis estadístico y el análisis de las cualidades o atributos descritos para determinar los resultados de los modelos de conducta en una población. Resultados. Ls datos sociodemográficos se tienen que en edad el 89% tiene edades entre 20 a 30 años, el 10% entre 31 a 40 años; respecto a la procedencia, el 47% es de la sierra, 37% de costa, 10% de la selva y el 6% es extranjera; en el estado civil, el 51% es soltera, 31% conviviente, 14% casada, 3% divorciada y el 1% viuda. en el conocimiento sobre las enfermedades diarreicas agudas en su dimensión definición, el 39% es alto, el 33% indica bajo y el 28% es medio conocimiento. en nivel de conocimiento sobre las enfermedades diarreicas agudas en su dimensión medidas preventivas el 40% es alto, el 31% indica bajo y el 29% es medio conocimiento. en conocimiento sobre las enfermedades diarreicas agudas en su dimensión tratamiento el 42% es alto, el 29% indica bajo y el 29% es medio conocimiento. Existe una relación del 66% del nivel de conocimiento sobre las enfermedades diarreicas agudas con las prácticas de prevención.
