Family support in the care of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus treated at the Tahuantinsuyo Bajo-Independencia health center, 2021.

Abstract

The research is quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The population will consist of 150 patients. The survey "Instrument to Evaluate Family Support for Type 2 Diabetics" will be used. The instrument measures family support for the patient through 24 items with a scale of five (A=always), four (B=almost always), three (C=sometimes), two (D=rarely), to one (E=never), respectively. The instrument will evaluate family support for diabetic patients, and there will be three categories based on the scores obtained: high family support (188 to 255 points), medium family support (120 to 187 points), and low family support (51 to 119 points). The data obtained will be exported for analysis to the statistical software SPSS version 24.0, and ethical aspects regarding the data protection of participants will be taken into account.

La investigación es cuantitativa, no experimental, descriptiva y de corte transversal. La población estará constituida por 150 pacientes. Se utilizará la encuesta: “Instrumento para Evaluar Apoyo Familiar al Diabético tipo 2” El instrumento mide el apoyo familiar al paciente, a través de 24 ítems con escala del cinco (A=siempre), cuatro (B=casi siempre), tres (C=siempre), dos (D=rara vez), al uno (E=nunca), respectivamente. El Instrumento evaluará el apoyo familiar al paciente diabético y habrá 3 categorías según con las puntuaciones obtenidas: apoyo familiar alto (188 a 255 puntos), apoyo familiar medio (120 a 187 puntos) y apoyo familiar bajo (51 a 119 puntos). Los datos obtenidos serán exportados para su análisis al programa estadístico SPSS versión 24.0, y se tomarán en cuenta los aspectos éticos de protección de datos de los participantes.
