Work exhaustion syndrome and its relationship with work performance in nursing professionals in the ICU of the Jaén General Hospital, 2023

Abstract

The research has focused on the clear prevalence of burnout syndrome, which can affect not only decision-making but also employee performance. The objective is to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job performance in nursing professionals in the ICU of the General Hospital of Jaén, 2023. This is an applied study with a quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional approach. The sample will be census-based, comprising a total of 45 nurses from the ICU of the General Hospital of Jaén. Data collection will be conducted using a survey, with a questionnaire instrument based on a Likert scale for each objective. The data will be processed using SPSS V 26.00 to ensure reliability and validity.

La investigación se ha centrado en la clara prevalencia que se encuentra teniendo el síndrome de agotamiento laboral, en donde ello puede ver afectado no solo a la toma de decisión, sino al desempeño del colaborador. Determinar la relación entre el síndrome de agotamiento laboral y el desempeño laboral en los profesionales de enfermería de la UCI del Hospital General Jaén, 2023. Estudio aplicado, con un enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y transversal. La muestra será censal con un total de 45 enfermeras de la UCI del Hospital General Jaén, haciendo uso de la encuesta para obtener la información, con el instrumento cuestionario con escala Likert para cada objetivo, en donde los datos buscarán ser confiables y válidos, procesando dicha información por medio del software SPSS V 26.00 por medio de la prueba estadística SPSS V 26.00.
