Level of knowledge of kidney disease and quality of life of patients at the Santa Ana Dialysis Center - Ayacucho 2022

Abstract

The knowledge of renal pathology is limited, generating that the quality of life of those who suffer from it is substantially affected, increasing morbimortality rates, the result is due to the fact that the patient cannot responsibly adhere to the actions oriented to optimize their quality of life due to a lack of knowledge of chronic renal pathology. The research will be developed with the objective of determining the relationship between the level of knowledge of kidney disease and the quality of life of patients at the Santa Ana Ayacucho Dialysis Center 2022. With a quantitative approach, correlational design. The sample will be 20 patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Santa Ana Ayacucho 2022 dialysis center. Data collection technique and instrument: a questionnaire on knowledge and quality of life will be used, each of which consists of 20 questions; the survey will be carried out with prior informed consent and respective authorization.

Los conocimientos de la patología renal, son limitados, generando que la calidad de vida de quienes la padecen se ve afectada sustancialmente, incrementando las tasas de morbimortalidad, el resultado obedece a que el paciente no puede adherirse responsablemente a las acciones orientadas a optimizar su calidad de vida por tener un desconocimiento de la patología renal crónica. La investigación se desarrollará con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de la enfermedad renal y la calidad de vida de los pacientes del Centro de Diálisis Santa Ana-Ayacucho 2022. Con un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño correlacional. La muestra será de 20 pacientes sometidos a hemodiálisis en el centro de diálisis Santa Ana Ayacucho 2022. Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos: se utilizarán el cuestionario sobre conocimiento y de calidad de vida la cual cuenta constan 20 preguntas cada una de ellas, la encuesta se realizará previa consentimiento informado y autorización respectiva.
