Régimen de alimentación y estado nutricional del paciente con insuficiencia renal crónica en tratamiento de hemodiálisis del servicio de medicina de un hospital en Chincha Alta 2023

Abstract

El objetivo de estudio será determinar como el régimen de alimentación se relaciona con el estado nutricional del paciente con insuficiencia renal crónica en tratamiento de hemodiálisis del Servicio de Medicina de un Hospital en Chincha Alta, 2023. Se utilizará un enfoque metodológico hipotético-deductivo, con un diseño de investigación de corte transversal y nivel correlacional, basado en un enfoque cuantitativo. La población de estudio estará compuesta por 80 pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica que reciben tratamiento de hemodiálisis en el mencionado servicio hospitalario. La técnica de recolección de datos para evaluar el régimen de alimentación será a través de encuestas, mientras que para medir el estado nutricional se empleará la observación. Se utilizará el Índice de Alimentación Saludable, el cual ha demostrado ser válido y confiable, con un coeficiente alfa de Cronbach de 0.7. Además, se clasificará el estado nutricional según el Índice de Masa Corporal, siguiendo las pautas establecidas por el Ministerio de Salud. Para determinar la relación entre las variables de estudio, se aplicará la prueba de correlación de Spearman. Se considerará un nivel de significancia del 5%, lo que implica que cualquier valor de p inferior a 0.05 se considerará estadísticamente significativo.

The objective of the study will be to determine how the eating regimen is related to the nutritional status of the patient with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis treatment at the Medicine Service of a Hospital in Chincha Alta, 2023. A hypothetical-deductive methodological approach will be used, with a cross-sectional research design and correlational level, based on a quantitative approach. The study population will be made up of 80 patients with chronic renal failure who receive hemodialysis treatment in the aforementioned hospital service. The data collection technique to evaluate the feeding regime will be through surveys, while observation will be used to measure nutritional status. The Healthy Eating Index will be used, which has been shown to be valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.7. In addition, nutritional status will be classified according to the Body Mass Index, following the guidelines established by the Ministry of Health. To determine the relationship between the study variables, the Spearman correlation test will be applied. A significance level of 5% will be considered, which implies that any p value less than 0.05 will be considered statistically significant.
