Social support perceived by the elderly of the Santa Anita Integral Care Center for the Elderly Lima - 2019

Abstract

The aforementioned research work had as its objective; Determine the social support perceived by the elderly of the Santa Anita Lima Comprehensive Care Center for the Elderly 2019. Methodology; quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study, the population was made up of 100 elderly people. The instrument that was used is the MOS questionnaire of perceived social support designed by Sherbourne and Stewart in 1991. Which validity and reliability were determined using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, the results being 0.97 and for the subscales it ranges between 0.91. and 0.96. On the other hand, validity was acquired through the test-retest correlation, with r=0.91. Therefore, it was adapted to reality. Its concurrent validity was determined with the group contrast method with the T test, resulting in the value of t=10.07, which is greater than the critical value of the test, at a significance level of 0.05, as for reliability, it was obtained for each factor through the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient, thus The same was done by dimensions. Results; When determining the perceived social support, a medium social support was found with (58%), followed by a low social support (34%), finally a high social support with (8%), likewise in its four dimensions with the exception of the material aid dimension (figure 2) Concluding; that predominates an average social support.

En el Mencionado trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo; Determinar el Apoyo social percibido por los ancianos del Centro integral de atención al adulto mayor Santa Anita Lima 2019. Metodología; estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, no experimental, de corte transversal, la población estuvo conformada por 100 ancianos. El instrumento que se utilizó es el cuestionario MOS de apoyo social percibido diseñado por Sherbourne y Stewart en 1991. El cual se determinó la validez y la confiabilidad mediante el coeficiente de alfa de Cronbach, siendo los resultados 0.97 y para las sub escalas oscila entre 0.91 y 0.96. Por otro, la validez se adquirió a través de la correlación test-retest, siendo r=0.91.por lo que se adaptó a la realidad su validez concurrente se determinó con el método de contrastación de grupos con la prueba T, dando como resultados el valor de t=10.07, el cual es mayor al valor crítico de la prueba, a un nivel de significancia de 0.05, en cuanto, a la confiabilidad se obtuvo por cada factor a través del Coeficiente de Alpha de Cronbach así mismo se realizó por dimensiones. Resultados; al determinar el apoyo social percibido se encontró un apoyo social medio con un (58%), seguido de un apoyo social bajo (34%) final mente un apoyo social alto con un (8%) así mismo en sus cuatro dimensiones con excepción en la dimensión ayuda material(figura2) Concluyendo; que predomina un apoyo social medio.
