Level of physical activity in boarding students of ninth and tenth cycle nursing of the Norbert Wiener private University of Lima 2022

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the level of physical activity in internal nursing students of the ninth and tenth cycle of the Private University Norbert Wiener Lima 2022. Materials and methods: The work has a quantitative approach; the methodological design is descriptive and cross-sectional. The study has non-probabilistic sampling, census-based, where 62 nursing interns who were studying the ninth and tenth cycle were taken; the inmates who participated were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research. Results. It was possible to specify that 35.48% of the students present a low level of physical activity, while 43.55% obtained a moderate level and finally 20.97% have a vigorous level of physical activity. It was possible to conclude that most of the students presented moderate levels of physical activity.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de actividad física en estudiantes internos de enfermería del noveno y décimo ciclo de la Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener Lima 2022. Materiales y métodos: El trabajo tiene enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño metodológico es descriptivo y de corte transversal. El estudio tiene muestreo no probabilístico, de forma censal, donde se tomaron 62 internos de enfermería que estuvieron cursando el noveno y décimo ciclo; los internos que participaron fueron seleccionados de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados en la investigación. Resultados. Se pudo precisar que el 35.48% de los estudiantes presentan un nivel de actividad física baja, mientras que el 43.55% obtuvo un nivel moderado y por último el 20.97% tiene un nivel de actividad física vigorosa. Se pudo concluir que la mayoría de los estudiantes presentó niveles moderados de actividad física.
