Nowadays, a complicated problem called stress is being magnified worldwide, which harms the health of workers, both physically and mentally, whose reasons for the origin of this evil would be the absence of interaction between the company's employees, the presence of interpersonal conflicts, exposure to workload or others associated with the disease, where the individual shows the ability to endure adversity and conflictive events. Objective: Determine the relationship between stress and nursing work performance in the surgery area of the Neoplásica hospital, Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: Corresponds to an applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional study. We worked with a sample consisting of 80 nurses who work in the Neoplastic hospital surgery area. The survey was used as the main technique and as an instrument a questionnaire for each variable with a Likert-type scale, which are extremely reliable and validated, both corresponding to the authors Machacuay and Vera, year 2020. For the descriptive analysis, the reliability was determined using Cronbach's alpha in 18 people who were part of the pilot test, reaching a Cronbach of 0.890 for the stress variable, and 0.865 for the job performance variable, whose collected data will be processed with the SPSS version 24 software and the hypothesis using Spearman's Rho coefficient, which will allow determining the relationships between the variables.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estrés y el desempeño laboral de enfermería del área de cirugía del hospital Neoplásica, Lima 2023. Materiales y Métodos:Corresponde al estudio de tipo aplicada, cuantitativo, correlacional y transversal. Se trabajó con muestra constituida 80 enfermeras que trabajan en área de cirugía hospital Neoplásica. Se hizo uso de la encuesta como técnica principal y como instrumento un cuestionario para cada variable con escala de tipo Likert, los cuales son sumamente confiables y validados, ambos correspondientes a los autores Machacuay y Vera, año 2020. Para el análisis descriptivo, la confiabilidad se determinó haciendo uso del alfa de Cronbach en 18 personas que formaron parte de la prueba piloto, alcanzándose para la variable estrés un Cronbach del 0.890, y para la variable desempeño laboral 0.865, cuyos datos recopilados se procesarán con el software SPSS versión 24 y las hipótesis utilizando el coeficiente Rho de Spearman, que permitirá determinar las relaciones entre las variables.
