Relationship between self-care and quality of life in patients with terminal chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis at the National Renal Health Center of Lima, January to July 2022.

Abstract

Objective: "To determine the relationship between self-care and quality of life of patients with End-Stage Renal Disease on hemodialysis." The population will be 144 patients on dialysis at the National Renal Health Center in the city of Lima. Sample: It will consist of 92 patients from room 1, and convenience sampling will be used. Type of research: It will be applied. The method will be hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach. The design to be used will be: observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational. Instruments: To evaluate the self-care variable, the survey will be applied, used and validated by three expert judgments in other research and then adapted and modified by Rubio Atoche in 2020, reliable through the Cron Bach Alpha coefficient of 0.935 and to evaluate the quality of life variable, the survey will be applied, used and validated by two expert judgments in other research as in 2021, reliable through Cron Bach Alpha coefficient of 0.924. For data processing and analysis, the SPSS version 26 program will be considered, as well as Microsoft Excel to export tables or graphs that can be modified in their form. The relationship between the study variables will be determined through the chi square test (x2), which will allow analyzing the results and contrasting the hypotheses.

Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre el autocuidado y la calidad de vida de los pacientes con enfermedad Renal Crónica Terminal en hemodiálisis”. la población será de 144 pacientes que se dializan en el Centro Nacional de Salud Renal de la ciudad de Lima. Muestra: estará conformada por 92 pacientes de la sala 1, se aplicará el muestreo probabilístico por conveniencia de criterios. Tipo de investigación: será aplicada. El método será hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo. El diseño a utilizar será: observacional, descriptivo transversal y correlacional. Instrumentos: para evaluar la variable autocuidado se aplicará la encuesta, utilizada y validada por tres juicios de expertos en otras investigaciones y luego adaptada y modificada por Rubio Atoche el año 2020, confiable a través del coeficiente Alfa de Cron Bach de 0,935 y para evaluar la variable de calidad de vida, se aplicará la encuesta, utilizada y validada por dos juicios de expertos en otras investigaciones como es en el año 2021, confiable mediante coeficiente Alfa de Cron Bach de 0,924. Para el procesamiento y análisis de datos se considerará el program SPSS versión 26, así como Microsoft Excel para exportar las tablas o gráficos que se puedan modificar en su forma. Se determinará la relación entre las variables de estudio a través de la prueba chi cuadrado (x2), lo cual permitirá analizar los resultados y contrastar las hipótesis.
