Burnout syndrome and job performance in the nursing staff of the Pueblo Nuevo Micronetwork - Ica, 2023

Abstract

Introduction: Work overload constantly affects normal organizational, physical, mental and emotional health, increasing the probability of burnout, this has an impact on both work performance and the level of patient care. Objective: "To determine how burnout syndrome is related to work performance in the nursing staff of the Pueblo Nuevo - Ica Micro-Network, 2023". Methods: Applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional research. The census sample will be constituted by 80 nurses working in the Microred Pueblo Nuevo Ica, the collection of information for this study was carried out using survey techniques Instruments: Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) adapted and validated by Sarria R, in 2007 was used to measure the first variable and the device used by the author Melani Campos to measure employee performance has been approved by professionals in the sector. According to the qualitative nature of the variables, the data will be processed in SPSS 25 before statistically verifying the hypotheses using Spearman's correlation coefficient.

Introducción: La sobrecarga de trabajo afecta constantemente la salud organizacional, física, mental y emocional normal, aumentando la probabilidad de agotamiento, esto repercute tanto en el rendimiento laboral como en el nivel de atención al paciente. Objetivo: “Determinar cómo se relaciona el síndrome de burnout con el desempeño laboral en el personal de enfermería de la Microred de Pueblo Nuevo - Ica, 2023”. Métodos: Investigación aplicada, cuantitativa, correlacional y transversal. La muestra censal estará constituida por 80 enfermeras que trabajan en la Microred Pueblo nuevo Ica, La recopilación de información para este estudio se llevó a cabo utilizando técnicas de encuesta Instrumentos: Se usó Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) adaptado y validado por Sarria R, en el 2007 para medir la primera variable y el dispositivo utilizado por la autora Melani Campos para medir el rendimiento de los empleados ha sido aprobado por profesionales del sector. En función del carácter cualitativo de las variables, los datos serán procesados en el SPSS 25 antes de verificar estadísticamente las hipótesis mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman.
