Abstract

The study will be carried out in the geriatric environment, an extremely critical environment due to the vulnerability of these patients and the needs they present for their care. In this sense, the quality of nursing care becomes a factor of great importance; However, it has been detected that in the Callao hospital where the study will be carried out, there are a series of limitations that complicate the provision of an adequate service to older adults, generating situations that reduce the level of satisfaction during their hospitalization in the service. medicine. OBJECTIVE: To relate the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of older adults aged 60 to 80 years in the medical service of the San José del Callao hospital, 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the research will be quantitative, applied, descriptive correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional. 60 people will participate. The survey will be used and two questionnaires will be applied, one for each variable.

El estudio será efectuado en el ámbito geriátrico, entorno sumamente álgido debido a la vulnerabilidad de estos pacientes y las necesidades que presentan para su atención. En ese sentido, la calidad de los cuidados enfermeros se convierte en un factor de gran importancia; sin embargo, se ha detectado que en el hospital del Callao donde se realizará el estudio existen una serie de limitaciones que complican la realización de un adecuado servicio a los adultos mayores, generando situaciones que reducen el nivel de satisfacción durante su internamiento en el servicio de medicina. OBJETIVO: Relacionar la calidad de cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción del adulto mayor de 60 a 80 años en el servicio de medicina del hospital San José del Callao, 2022. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: la investigación será cuantitativa, de tipo aplicada, descriptiva-correlacional, no experimental y transversal. Participarán 60 personas. Se hará uso de la encuesta y se aplicarán dos cuestionarios, uno para cada variable.
