Quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the emergency service of the Chincha hospital 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the emergency service of a Hospital in Chincha 2023. Methodology: The research has a quantitative approach, whose results will be measurable and quantifiable. , of a correlational type, demonstrating the relationship between the study variables, with a non-experimental design, which will allow creating a precedent for other investigations, with a population of 240 patients and a sample of 140 patients, as well as validated instruments, within which the Alván and Quiroz questionnaire is included, in 2021, they may be useful to address population groups with similar characteristics and different moments applicable to the emergency service. The data processing will be carried out taking into account the final values considered for the variables in ordinal scale, using descriptive statistics that will help to elaborate the tables and figures, and inferential statistics through the statistical package SPSS v. 26 where the relationship between the variables and hypothesis testing will be established using Pearson's correlation.

El presente estudio tiene como Objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción del paciente en el servicio de emergencia de un Hospital de Chincha 2023. Metodología: La investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, cuyos resultados serán medibles y cuantificables, de tipo correlacional demostrando la relación entre las variables de estudio, con un diseño no experimental lo que permitirá crear un precedente para otras investigaciones, contando con una población de 240 pacientes y una muestra de 140 pacientes, así como también se utilizarán instrumentos validados, dentro de los cuales se incluye el cuestionario de Alván y Quiroz, en el 2021, los podrán ser útiles para abordar grupos poblacionales de similares características y momentos distintos aplicables al servicio de emergencias. El procesamiento de datos se realizará tomando en cuenta los valores finales considerados para las variables en escala ordinal usando para ello la estadística descriptiva que ayudará a elaborar las tablas y figuras, y la estadística inferencial a través del paquete estadístico SPSS v. 26 donde se establecerá la relación entre las variables y contrastación de hipótesis usando la correlación de Pearson.
