Effectiveness of kidney transplantation in the survival of patients with terminal chronic kidney failure

Abstract

The nurse specialist in nephrology care; They are part of the interdisciplinary group of transplant programs and are the ones who verify that the patient complies with the rigorous preparation at each stage of the process, playing different roles in order to achieve comprehensive care for the patient. The complexity and continuity of care at the different times and scenarios in which the transplant takes place will determine the effectiveness of the kidney transplant, increasing the survival of the patient's graft. The nurse plays a very important role, the results of the transplant will be reflected in the interventions of the nurse specialist in nephrological care, from the administration of progressive holistic care in the transplant process, as well as the educational role.

El enfermero especialista en cuidados nefrológicos; forma parte del grupo interdisciplinario de los programas de trasplantes y son quienes verifican que el paciente cumpla con la preparación rigurosa en cada etapa del proceso, desempeñando diferentes roles con la finalidad de lograr el cuidado integral del paciente. La complejidad y continuidad de los cuidados en los diferentes momentos y escenarios en los que se desarrolla el trasplante, determinara la efectividad del trasplante renal aumentando la supervivencia del injerto del paciente. El enfermero juega un rol de suma importancia, los resultados del trasplante se reflejaran en las intervenciones del enfermero especialista en cuidados nefrológicos, desde la administración de un cuidado holístico progresivo en el proceso de trasplante, así también como el rol educativo.
