Functional capacity and its relationship with the risk of falling in older adults housed in the geriatric center of public charity “San Vicente de Paul“ Lima 2022

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between functional capacity and the risk of falls in older adults housed in the Geriatric Center of the Public Charity "San Vicente de Paul" Lima 2022. Material and methods: The work has a quantitative approach, the methodological design is descriptive and cross-sectional. The present study presents a non-probabilistic sampling, in a census manner, since 127 older adults will be taken from the Geriatric Center of the Public Charity Society Metropolitan Lima "San Vicente de Paul", in the city of Lima.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación de la capacidad funcional con el riesgo de caída en los adultos mayores albergados en el Centro Geriátrico de la Beneficencia Pública “San Vicente de Paul” Lima 2022. Material y métodos: El trabajo tiene enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño metodológico es descriptivo y de corte transversal. El presente estudio presenta un muestreo no probabilístico, de manera censal, puesto se tomará a 127 adultos mayores del Centro Geriátrico de la Sociedad Beneficencia Publica Lima Metropolitana “San Vicente de Paul”, en la ciudad de Lima.
