Breastfeeding self-efficacy of pregnant women with an effect on the interruption of exclusive breastfeeding in the tablada de Lurín maternal and child center 2020

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the fundamental pillar for infant nutrition; in the world a large group of infants enjoy the benefits of EBF; Among the most important benefits are saving their lives, avoiding morbidity, promoting optimal physical and cognitive development, in addition to reducing the risk of contracting chronic diseases. It is worth mentioning that there are studies that affirm that the lack of this practice affects sustainable development and poverty reduction in the long term. Objective: Determine the breastfeeding self-efficacy of pregnant women with an effect on the interruption of exclusive breastfeeding at the Tablada De Lurín 2020 Maternal and Child Center. Methodology The present research will have a quantitative approach since the variable will be measured numerically, the design of the The study will be non-experimental, the method will be descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample population will be made up of 70 pregnant women who attend the health facility. The data collection technique is the survey and the instrument will be the LIKER type called “Self-efficacy for breastfeeding”, an instrument created in Mexico in 2018, which is found to have validity and reliability.

La lactancia materna exclusiva es el pilar fundamental para la nutrición del lactante, en el mundo un gran grupo de lactantes gozan de los beneficios de la LME; siendo entre los beneficios más importantes salvar sus vidas, evitar morbilidad, promover el desarrollo físico y cognitivo óptimo, además de reducir el riesgo de contraer enfermedades crónicas. Cabe mencionar que existen estudios que afirman que la falta de esta práctica afecta a largo plazo el desarrollo sostenible y la reducción de la pobreza. Objetivo: Determinar la autoeficacia para dar de lactar de mujeres embarazadas con efecto en la interrupción en la lactancia materna exclusiva en Centro Materno Infantil Tablada De Lurín 2020. Metodología La presente investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo ya que la variable se medirá numéricamente, el diseño del estudio será no experimental, el método será descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población muestral estará conformada por 70 gestantes que acuden al establecimiento de salud. La técnica de recolección de datos es la encuesta y el instrumento será tipo LIKER llamado “Autoeficacia para lactar”, instrumento creado en México en el 2018, el cual se encuentra con validez y confiabilidad.
