Knowledge and attitude about cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of the nursing staff of the sterilization center of the Honorio Delgado regional hospital, Arequipa – 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude of nursing staff regarding cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of the sterilization center of the Honorio Delgado Regional Hospital, Arequipa – 2021. Methodology: type of basic, quantitative research. Design, descriptive, correlational, transversal. The population will be 23 nurses (8 graduates and 15 technicians) who meet the selection criteria. Data collection techniques and instruments: A survey will be applied to collect data, using the knowledge questionnaire and the Likert-type attitude scale in nursing staff. Procedures: it will be carried out in 90 days, at the Sterilization Center of the Honorio Delgado Regional Hospital in Arequipa. Subsequently, a database will be created and the information will be transcribed into the SPSS program (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). Statistical analysis: for the descriptive data analysis of quantitative variables, measures of central tendency and dispersion will be used, for the absolute and relative quantitative frequency variables; Pearson's dependency test for the relationship between knowledge and attitude.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre conocimiento y actitud del personal de enfermería sobre limpieza, desinfección y esterilización de la central de esterilización del Hospital Regional Honorio Delgado, Arequipa – 2021. Metodología: tipo de investigación básica, cuantitativo. Diseño, descriptivo, correlacional, transversal. La población será 23 enfermeras (8 licenciadas y 15 técnicos) que cumplan con los criterios de selección. Técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos: Se aplicará encuesta para recopilar los datos, usando el cuestionario para conocimiento y la Escala de actitudes tipo Likert en el personal de enfermería. Procedimientos: se ejecutará en 90 días, en la Central de Esterilización del Hospital Regional Honorio Delgado de Arequipa. Posteriormente se creará una base de datos y se procederá a la transcripción de la información al programa SPSS (Stadistical Product and Service Solutions. Análisis estadístico: para el análisis de datos descriptivo de variables cuantitativas se usará medidas de tendencia central y de dispersión, para las variables cuantitativas frecuencia absolutas y relativas; la prueba de dependencia de Pearson para la relación entre conocimiento y actitud.
