Total family risk in households with children under 5 years old working in the human settlement Los Rosales in Los Olivos, Lima - 2019

Abstract

It is a study based on the quantitative approach, non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional design. We worked with a population of 144 heads of households aged 20 to 41 years and who have at least one child under 5 years old. The data collection technique was the survey; and the instrument, the Total Family Risk Questionnaire or RFT5:33, which has 5 dimensions and 33 items. Results: Regarding total family risk, 86 families representing 59.7% are threatened; 30 families representing 20.8% have low risk; and 28 families that represent 19.4% have high risk. Regarding the dimensions of psychoaffective conditions (97.9%), health services and practices (54.9%), housing and neighborhood conditions (91%) and handling of minors (78.5%), threatened families predominated, except for the socioeconomic situation dimension where families with high risk predominated (51.4%). Conclusions: In relation to the total family risk of the participating families, the threatened families predominated, followed by low risk and high risk. Regarding the dimensions of psychoaffective conditions, health services and practices, housing and neighborhood conditions, and management of minors, threatened families predominated; and in the socioeconomic situation dimension, families with high risk predominated.

ES UN ESTUDIO BASADO EN EL ENFOQUE CUANTITATIVO, DE DISEÑO NO EXPERIMENTAL, DESCRIPTIVO Y DE CORTE TRANSVERSAL. SE TRABAJÓ CON UNA POBLACIÓN DE 144 JEFES DE FAMILIA DE 20 A 41 AÑOS DE EDAD Y QUE CUENTAN CON AL MENOS UN NIÑO MENOR DE 5 AÑOS. RESULTADOS: EN CUANTO AL RIESGO FAMILIAR TOTAL, 86 FAMILIAS QUE REPRESENTAN EL 59,7% SON AMENAZADAS; 30 FAMILIAS QUE REPRESENTAN EL 20,8% TIENEN RIESGO BAJO; Y 28 FAMILIAS QUE REPRESENTAN EL 19,4% TIENEN RIESGO ALTO. EN CUANTO A LAS DIMENSIONES CONDICIONES PSICOAFECTIVAS (97,9%), SERVICIOS Y PRÁCTICAS DE SALUD (54,9%), CONDICIONES DE VIVIENDA Y VECINDARIO (91%) Y MANEJO DE MENORES (78,5%), PREDOMINARON LAS FAMILIAS AMENAZADAS, A EXCEPCIÓN DE LA DIMENSIÓN SITUACIÓN SOCIOECONÓMICA EN DONDE PREDOMINARON LAS FAMILIAS CON RIESGO ALTO (51,4%). CONCLUSIONES: EN RELACIÓN CON EL RIESGO FAMILIAR TOTAL DE LAS FAMILIAS PARTICIPANTES, PREDOMINARON LAS AMENAZADAS, SEGUIDAS DE RIESGO BAJO Y RIESGO ALTO. EN CUANTO A LAS DIMENSIONES CONDICIONES PSICOAFECTIVAS, SERVICIOS Y PRÁCTICAS DE SALUD, CONDICIONES DE VIVIENDA Y VECINDARIO Y MANEJO DE MENORES, PREDOMINARON LAS FAMILIAS AMENAZADAS; Y EN LA DIMENSIÓN SITUACIÓN SOCIOECONÓMICA PREDOMINARON LAS FAMILIAS CON RIESGO ALTO.
