Mothers' level of knowledge about newborn care after discharge from the neonatal intensive care unit of a private clinic Lima Peru 2020

Abstract

Aim. It will determine the level of knowledge of mothers about newborn care after discharge from the neonatal intensive care service. Materials and methods. This research will have a quantitative approach, the type of research we have is applied, the scope is and the design is non-experimental and transectional. The population will be comprised of 58 mothers of neonates who were hospitalized in the NICU service. Mothers will be selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection technique that will be used will be the survey and the instrument will be the Festival questionnaire. To collect the data, mothers will be recruited before the discharge of their newborns from the NICU service. In addition, an educational session will be held where a good number of participants will be recruited. Finally, the data will be incorporated into a matrix in the SPSS 24.0 statistical software.

Objetivo. Será determinar el nivel de conocimientos de las madres sobre los cuidados del recién nacido después del alta del servicio de cuidados intensivo neonatales. Materiales y métodos. La presente investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación tenemos que es aplicada, el alcance es y el diseño es no experimental de corte transeccional. La población estará comprendida por 58 madres de neonatos que estuvieron hospitalizados en el servicio de UCIN. Las madres serán seleccionadas según los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La técnica de recolección de datos que se utilizará será la encuesta y el instrumento será el cuestionario de Fiestas. Para la recopilación de los datos se captará a las madres antes del alta de sus recién nacidos en el servicio de UCIN, además se realizará una sesión educativa donde se podrá captar un buen número de participantes, finalmente los datos serán incorporados a una matriz en el software estadístico SPSS 24.0.
