Relationship between human talent management and job performance of health personnel at the Virgen del Carmen Maternal and Child Center – Chorrillos, 2021

Abstract

The present research work entitled Relationship between Human Talent Management and Work Performance of the health personnel of the Centro Materno Infantil Virgen del Carmen - Chorrillos, 2021, had the objective of determining the relationship between human talent management and the work performance of the health personnel of the Centro Materno Infantil Virgen del Carmen - Chorrillos, 2021. Methodology: Applied study, quantitative, descriptive, correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. Population: it consisted of a total of 160 members, all of whom were human resources working in the health center. Two questionnaires were used to collect information: Quality management, which consists of two dimensions: Personnel selection and personnel training with 9 items. Work performance, which consists of 2 dimensions: Quality of work and Teamwork with 14 items, both instruments with a Likert scale were validated by 5 expert judgments and reached a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.8 and 0.9 respectively. Results: the study showed the existence of a positive correlation between both variables and their respective dimensions, which were subsequently tabulated through graphs and tables.

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado Relación entre Gestión del Talento humano y el Desempeño laboral del personal de salud del Centro Materno Infantil Virgen del Carmen – Chorrillos, 2021, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión del talento humano y el desempeño laboral del personal de salud del Centro Materno Infantil Virgen del Carmen – Chorrillos, 2021. Metodología: Estudio tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. Población: estuvo conformada por un total de 160 integrantes, todos fueron recursos humanos que laboran en el centro de salud. Se utilizó 2 cuestionarios para el recojo de la información: Gestión de la calidad que consta de 2 dimensiones: Selección del personal y Capacitación del personal con 9 ítems. Desempeño laboral que, consta de 2 dimensiones: Calidad del trabajo y Trabajo en equipo con 14 ítems, ambos instrumentos con una escala de Likert fueron validados por 5 juicios de expertos y alcanzaron una confiabilidad de Alfa de Cronbach de 0.8 y 0.9 respectivamente. Resultados: el estudio permitió evidenciar la existencia de una correlación positiva entre ambas variables y sus respectivas dimensiones, las cuales fueron tabuladas posteriormente a través de gráficos y cuadros.
