Social support and adherence to treatment in patients with depression, treated at the community mental health center, 2020

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between social support and adherence to treatment in patients with depression, treated at the community mental health center, 2020. Materials and Methods: This research work has a quantitative approach; it is sequential, predictable and measurable; Regarding the design, it is a non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional study; The sample size will be 143 users with a diagnosis of depression, over 18 years of age treated at the community mental health center and the sampling technique to be used will be simple random probabilistic. Regarding the measurement technique and instrument: the technique to be used for both variables is the structured survey. Regarding the instrument, for the social support variable it is the MOS questionnaire and for treatment adherence it is the Morisky Green Test.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el apoyo social y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con depresión, atendidos en el centro de salud mental comunitario, 2020. Materiales y Métodos: El presente trabajo de investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo; es secuencial, predecible y medible; en cuanto al diseño es no experimental de estudio correlacional y de tipo transversal; el tamaño de la muestra será 143 usuarios con diagnóstico de depresión, mayores de 18 años atendidos en el centro de salud mental comunitario y la técnica de muestreo a utilizarse será probabilística aleatorio simple. Respecto a la técnica e instrumento de medición: la técnica a utilizarse para ambas variables es la encuesta estructurada. Respecto al instrumento, para la variable apoyo social es el cuestionario MOS y para adherencia al tratamiento es el Test de Morisky Green.
