Care of the polytraumatized patient transferred in ambulances and nursing assessment, in a national hospital, Lima 2022

Abstract

Introduction: the prehospital care that is provided in ambulances to patients with polytraumatisms, as well as the assessment carried out by the nursing professional are important since it can mean the difference between life and death, for which it is important that graduates in infirmaries they have the scientific-practical training that allows them to deal with this type of case. Objective: To establish the relationship that exists between the care in the transfer of polytraumatized patients and the nursing assessment in a hospital in Lima in 2022. Methods: hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied, correlational and cross-sectional study. The census sample will consist of 10 nursing graduates who work in the ambulance service of a Hospital in Lima. Observation will be used to apply a checklist prepared by Carranza and a questionnaire to apply the survey with a Likert-type scale adapted by Paucar for the target population, both instruments validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and Spearman's production coefficient will be used to test the hypotheses.

La atención prehospitalaria que se les brinda en las ambulancias a los pacientes con politraumatismos, así como la valoración que realiza el profesional enfermero son importantes ya que puede significar la diferencia entre la vida y la muerte, por lo cual es importante que los licenciados en enfermerías cuenten con la formación científico-práctica que les permita afrontar este tipo de casos. Objetivo: Establecer la relaciona que existe entre los cuidados en el traslado del paciente politraumatizado y la valoración de enfermería en un hospital de Lima en el 2022. Métodos: estudio de hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, aplicado, correlacional y transversal. La muestra censal estará constituida por 10 licenciadas en enfermería que laboran en el servicio de ambulancias de un Hospital de Lima. Se usarán la observación para aplicar una lista de chequeo elaborada por Carranza y un cuestionario para aplicar la encuesta con escala de tipo Likert adaptados por Paucar para la población objetivo, ambos instrumentos validados y con confiabilidad para medir las variables en cuestión. Los datos recolectados serán procesados utilizando SPSS 25 y para contrastar las hipótesis se usará es coeficiente de correlación de Spearman.
