Quality of life and depression in patients with chronic renal failure in a Lima hospital, 2023

Abstract

The research aims to know how the quality of life of the patient who presents renal failure can be related to the level of depression presented in a Hospital in Lima, 2022; Likewise, the work will be developed in a quantitative approach, with a hypothetical deductive method, applied, working with a descriptive-correlational level, and a non-experimental design with a population of 135 patients with real insufficiency and the sample will be 100 patients in the same conditions, working with two validated and reliable questionnaires. In the collection of data these instruments will be applied in an average of 25 minutes per patient with which it will be possible to obtain a database that will be analyzed by the SPSS Software version 25.0, said program will provide an analysis of the results in tables and graphs in order to interpret the behavior of the variables as well as sui level of relationship through the Spearman Rho test, to test the study hypotheses.

La investigación tiene el objetivo de poder conocer como la calidad de vida del paciente que presenta insuficiencia renal puede relacionarse con el nivel de depresión que presente en un Hospital de Lima, 2022; asimismo el trabajo se desarrollará en un enfoque cuantitativo, con un método hipotético deductivo, aplicado, trabajando con un nivel descriptivo-correlacional, y un diseño no experimental con una población de 135 pacientes con insuficiencia real y la muestra serán 100 pacientes en la mismas condiciones, se trabajara con dos cuestionarios validados y confiables. En la recolección de los datos estos instrumentos serán aplicados en un promedio de 25 minutos por pacientes con lo cual se podrá obtener una base de datos que será analizada por el Software SPSS versión 25.0, dicho programa brindará un análisis de los resultados en tablas y grafios con el fin de poder interpretar el comportamiento de las variables así como sui nivel de relación a través de la prueba de Rho de Spearman, para comprobar las hipótesis de estudio.
