Family risk and family functionality of the patient with renal replacement therapy, Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital

Abstract

Aim. Determine the relationship between family risk and family functionality of the patient with renal replacement therapy at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital. Methods. The study has a quantitative approach. The type of study is correlational and transversal. The sample population will consist of 50 patients undergoing renal replacement therapy at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital. The technique that will be applied is the interview. To measure family functionality, the FF – SIL Family Functioning Questionnaire instrument will be used and to measure total family risk, the RFT 5:33 questionnaire will be used. These instruments will be applied after acceptance of informed consent to each study unit. In the inferential statistical analysis, Spearman's rho or Pearson's r test will be used, after a normality test, and the value of statistical significance will also be taken into consideration (p≤0.05). Expected results. The family risk is expected to be related to the family functionality of the patient with renal replacement therapy at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital.

Objetivo. Determinar la relación entre el riesgo familiar y funcionalidad familiar del paciente con terapia de sustitución renal del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. Métodos. El estudio tiene enfoque cuantitativo. El tipo de estudio es correlacional y transversal. La población muestral estará constituida por 50 pacientes sometidos a terapia de sustitución renal en el hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. La técnica que se aplicará es la entrevista. Para medir la funcionalidad familiar, se utilizará el instrumento de cuestionario del funcionamiento Familiar FF – SIL y para medir el riesgo familiar total, se empleará el cuestionario RFT 5:33. Estos instrumentos se aplicarán previa aceptación del consentimiento informado a cada unidad de estudio. En el análisis estadístico inferencial se utilizará la prueba rho de Spearman o de r de Pearson, previa prueba de normalidad, además se tendrá en consideración el valor de la significancia estadística (p≤0,05). Resultados esperados. Se espera el riesgo familiar tenga relación con la funcionalidad familiar del paciente con terapia de sustitución renal del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza.
